F10 on range
- Asked By Lynn Reilly
hi I was broilng sausage when the F10 low-cal came on- model # FGEF3035RFA! I tin can't ge the code off
- Answered Past MasterTech
Hello,
If y'all got that fault while the range was in employ it ways that the control detected a runaway temperature, which means the range is non cycling the oven at the fix temperature. In nearly cases that is caused by a bad temperature sensor in the oven. If you have an ohmmeter and know how to use it, follow the instructions on the page linked below

If you practice not have a meter then just social club and supervene upon the temperature sensor as that is well-nigh likely the trouble, yet, if that does not fix information technology, the main command has failed. The parts for your model to prepare that error are linked below.

I accept a Frigidaire Range Model FGGF3041KFJ Giving the F10 Lawmaking. What does this hateful?
- Answered By MasterTech
That means the command is not getting the proper resistance back from the temperature sensor and is detecting a runaway temperature. This is commonly caused by a failed temperature sensor. However, it can be the main command causing the problem as well. To figure out which one is the problem you lot will need to test the temperature sensor with an ohmmeter. Disconnect the sensor from the wiring harness and measure its resistance it should take roughly 1100 ohms at room temperature if not it's bad. If the sensor checks out skilful the command board needs to be replaced. The temperature sensor is the probe you come across sticking out of the back wall the inside of the oven.
If you exercise not have an ohmmeter to test the sensor with just supervene upon the sensor as that is the common part to fail. If afterwards replacing the sensor it still gives you lot the F10 error code you will need to supplant the control board. Both parts are linked below:

How to change broil element on Frigidaire Gallery Range Model FFEF3054TSE
- Asked By Rob Troester
I but got an F10 fault code last night, prior to that for several months the summit element/broiler was non working. I come across your post for the F10 code, I am wondering if y'all accept data on replacing the top element? Thank you. I am because doing these repairs myself without having to call a repairman.
- Answered By MasterTech
Get-go, you volition want to check the broil element with an ohm meter and brand sure the element is bad. Since you were getting the F10 mistake code it could exist that the bake relay on the primary board failed and is not sending voltage to the broil element which is why it'due south non working, non because the broil element is bad. Just check the element for continuity if information technology has continuity and then yous know the element does not need replacing and you only need to supervene upon the control lath and that will set all the issue you are having. If the element does not take continuity then aye it would need to be replaced. Both the broil chemical element and the command lath for that model are linked beneath:

Frigidaire Range F10 Fault Code
- Asked By Tom Krings
Getting f10 error lawmaking later on oven heats upwardly. I have tested the oven temperature sensor and wiring and it tests in the range that it should. I have removed power from oven and code clears, but when I set oven to heat upwardly, (i set up it for 300 degrees) the F10 code comes back and the oven is very hot.
- Answered By MasterTech
Since you have checked the temp sensor and it's adept and the wiring checks out the only thing left that tin can be causing that issue is the primary control is non reading the resistances from the temp sensor which means the board is bad. The bad news near that is the lath for that model is no longer beingness manufactured so you tin't get them anymore, sometimes you tin can notice a good used one on ebay only as of today there are non any listed. The only other option you actually accept other than ownership a new stove is to transport your board in to a company that will rebuild the lath for you. The link beneath is to a visitor that you can send your board to and have information technology refurbished.

Replaced Temp Sensor and Main Control Still Getting F10
- Asked By Mitchell
I replaced both the sensor and the control board and it's notwithstanding giving the f10 error what should I bank check side by side?
- Answered By MasterTech
Sorry yous are having and then much problem. If you lot replaced both parts and y'all notwithstanding get the error then the wiring harness from the sensor the command is bad, yous demand to check the wiring with a ohm meter and see if the wiring from the sensor to the command is good which if y'all replaced the board and the sensor and so at that place is no mode it tin can exist. If it is you got a bad board or bad sensor. So if the wiring is good check the resistance of the sensor and if its adept and so you only have bad luck and got a bad board.
